Oooh, that's interesting, hopefully that'll mean we'll get some more Air Cav figures.
Maybe even let our imaginations go a little wild and look forward to Hueys and even a PBR !
The Apocalypse Now village Square, School and larger hut I had Paul Print for me a couple of months back and it came out pretty good I think !

Everything looks swish Steve. No doubt the 3d printer is running hot. Like you, so glad I have the Huey, very appropriate and versatile. Robin.

Yeah hopefully Paul has some coolant for his printers, they've been working overtime with some huge projects he has taken on fulfilling the dreams of us collectors ! {sm4}

Really great looking scenes Steve

Thanks Duke :salute::

Sharing caring for our Mum after her strokes with my Sister means I don't get the time to do as many set up scenes as I did before, so it's great fun for me when I do !

Steve

Fantastic setups and scenes, Steve! I really like your use of the M-8 Greyhound customized into an ARVN vehicle in the first pictures… Very authentic 😎

Great dio and pics !
I wish I had a chopper like that, I built one from 1/32 kit, but it’s only gonna be good for deep backdrop in a dio setting.

Yes the M-8 Greyhound is great as an abandoned ARVN vehicle, would also be useful for French Indochina. Few years ago as the Vietnam range came out I did ask Andy if there was a chance of a reissue with an ARVN version but what with all the new releases and other requests on his plate and now the Covid related issues in China slowing down everything I got on and found an old release on ebay, pretty faded so needed a repaint and just printed off the RVN flags and placed over the White Star. Just need a couple of Vietnamese crewmen and I'll be sorted !

I know Mike, I waited ages to find one on ebay after initially not pulling the trigger on this one when they were released and ended up paying quite a premium for a second hand one ! I know the slightly smaller 1/32 scale Figarti ones are still available from Grey Goose Toy Soldiers here in the UK, but 1/32 just is that bit too smaller as you know to work in the foreground with K&C's Vietnam range. I've got an unmade Loach model that will be the same in having to stay in the background ! Still Andy hinted that K&C may after all do a mass produced Huey as opposed to the expensive wooden models. Be nice if so he also did the three versions like Collectors Showcase did for their limited run. Not sure how many CS did but I think it was just a few hundred of each version.

Steve

Still looks great Steve.

Thanks Matt.:salute::

When I have the time I have a few more little scenes from Apocalypse Now I'd like to recreate.

Steve

Nicely done, Steve. Like this shot with the Huey (although it's missing a Mummy): ^&grin

Yep, I agree, I would welcome a KC Huey and also some trucks for my upcoming gun truck to protect
