With the first wave of Marines attacking in Amtracs stalls, the second wave in LCVT come in, drop their ramps and as the Marines try to get ashore Jap machine guns cut them down.

Good morning Steve,

I think this photo set is among your best. Love the beach and the Higgins. Great sense of action and realism. Well done my friend!
{bravo}}

I recently broke out my Tarawa/Pacific pieces to set up the tabletop dio again. May take a few photos today.

Cheers Rob. Looking forward to seeing what you come up in your set up.

Steve

That is a great set up. Is the higgins boat a K&C product?

Thanks Steve
I will look for it as I am collecting the USMC range too.
all I've seen is the LST.

Hey Steve,

your diorama is utterly astounding! {eek3} What else do we want to see??? As I've already said, you're the bee's knees!

Cheers

You've captured the action so well here Steve and the positioning of the Marines is spot on!

Cheers Harrie and have a good one yourself !

Pouring out of the landing craft into withering fire has resulted in a dramatic scene aided by appropriate posed figures which you have set out so well. Just perfect Steve. Robin.

Really well done.

I will simply refer to what Robin, Harrie, Tody, Enrico, Mike, Rob and others have already said.
You have so many wonderful dio's it is hard to call this one the BEST, but I can't argue with anyone who thinks so.

From the staging to the camera angle to the story all so well done. ...:salute::

Thanks Robin and thanks go to Andy and the team at K&C for making these realistically posed figures showing the twenty years of hope snuffed out in an instant.

Cheers Larry, glad you like it, space considerations for me mean no permanent diorama, but taking photos and sharing them on the forum with you guys gives a lot of pleasure !

Steve

Another excellent diorama! You've captured the action very well.
