Not in the near future, but it is something we'll definitely do eventually.

Of course they would be nice but I would hope we see some French and British Dragoons first.;)

I would personally like to see British Heavy Cavalry or French Hussars or Dragoons also. But I kinda like (In my own kingdom here in my head.) to see things released in rotation. I would like to see a release of a German States Artillery set or Cavalry, just because there have been those releases for the other powers. Maybe it is time for another Bavarian release since they were first to be released and are in need of support.

I certainly appreciate your point but I cannot help wanting to see the one's that I will buy first. It is just one of those collectors myopia things.;):D I do know that when they come, they will be worth the wait.:D

Very true. I feel your pain in keeping your collection within a narrow focus, and awaiting the next offering.Mine is just a bit more wide, but still exclusively Napoleonic. A few more cavalry of any type would be nice. An appearance by the Rifles wouldn't be bad either.

You guys are crazy and obsessive, even though I find myself nodding in agreement as I read your posts. But then again, how can you disagree with heavy cavalry?

I like to think that I am a little more obsessive than cr....cr...crazy. The Life Guards seeing off the Cuirassiers would make a great diorama.:D

Agreed. And I have precisely one trooper...and he's lonely!

My General Edouard Colbert, Feels the same loneliness. He is a general without anyone to lead (and fighting the temptation to recruit Some Red Lancers from another manufacturer, I hope he holds out. Because the other ones are very good, but not great ).

Yes crazy and obsessive may be an apt description but at least I am consistent.;):D Indeed the Rifles would be wonderful and I simply know they have to be coming, it is just a question of how soon. Of course we could say that about many of the Napoleonic icons.

I'm glad you mentioned the Rifles...and yes, they are desperately needed. I have bought 95th figures from various manufacturers, and I can't say I have been thrilled with the poses. I'd like to see someone who really understands their techniques model poses that would have been unique to a rifle company. I know you have seen illustrations of them lying on their backs, balancing the barrel on their feet to take aim. Now what Naps collector isn't going to purchase that one?!

I have seen those and I quite agree. Of all the Napoleonic options, the Rifles and to a lesser extent, the French Voltigeurs, offer the most opportunity for some very creative and interesting poses consistent with their roles as skirmishers and raiders. The French Dragoons offer similar opportunities.;)

While we wait for the arrival of FL red lancers, has anyone already got K&C Red Lancers and FL's Colbert?

Do they go well with each other?

I have some K&C Red Lancers but no FL's Colbert, yet...

I like having all of my figures at about the same scale, but I do have a K&C Red Lancer in my display alongside my Carabinier and it looks fine. I haven't broken down and purchased any of the personalities yet

I don't know how the K&C Lancers compare with the K&C Cuirassiers but I display the Cuirassiers with the FL Light Dragoons and think the combination is fine. The Cuirassiers appear a tad larger but not so much as for the foot figures. There are a couple of photos showing the FL Dragoons with the K&C Cuirassiers at the end of the first post in my Light Dragoon review thread here.

Same preference here regarding scale.

From some examples of pictures posted in the forum, it seems that K&C and FL figures can be made to work together. However, K&C figures are generally more full-bodied and has relatively brighter colours.

Very true. I started out collecting King and Country But First legion has had a lot more releases and I was able to get in (as it were) from the beginning of the Napoleonic releases from First legion. I missed quite a few early King and Country offerings. I like both company's figures but for me, I had to choose one and it was first Legion. First Legion's figures also look less clean and more like they are in campaign mode.

Yes, Bill - I have seen the photos from your excellent review of the Light Dragoons.

I don't know the recruiting requirements for the Light Dragoons, but we can perhaps explain away the K&C Cuirassiers for being larger by alluding to the fact that a Cuirassier had to be at least 1.8m tall (not to mention minimum 12 years active service... and to have fought through at least 3 campaigns).
