Red Lancers (1 Viewer)

Very true. I started out collecting King and Country But First legion has had a lot more releases and I was able to get in (as it were) from the beginning of the Napoleonic releases from First legion. I missed quite a few early King and Country offerings. I like both company's figures but for me, I had to choose one and it was first Legion. First Legion's figures also look less clean and more like they are in campaign mode.

We are almost in the same boat. I have missed some of the earlier K&C releases. At the same time FL has also gone on to do some releases that does not duplicate that of others, so I can still consider both manufactuers as and when it is appropriate. As it is, I rely quite a lot on the passionate and expert collectors in this forum with their excellent photos and comments.

Me too! I am a Civil War buff and started out collecting Civil War Figures. The Napoleonic era along with the Sharpe's novels got me started on collecting in this era as well. I know very little of this period. I have a lot of catching up to do. Welcome to the forum!

Nice picture, Gebhard.

One with red lancers engaged in battle will be great

It's Crusades and Naps for me - and it's quite a handful already.

Cheers

Thanks, Bill.

Now, why can't they do it like these in miniatures...
