Refurb of old hollowcast Mounted Indian Cavalry (1 Viewer)

Hi Pinotnoir. I use razor saws and new #11 hobby knife blades to cut a cavalry figure in half. The metal in those hollowcast figures isn't uniform in thickness, sometimes barely there, so it has to be a very slow and careful process. Once the figure's cut, build up the insides with epoxy putty to give more room for metal to flow in the mould.

Perfect! Wondered about adding putty to the cavity of the horse. Will experiment with these:
