Hello all:

I was curious if there was a site that listed the release dates of the different sets in each line. For example, the dates the KGL line of the Napoleonics. I believe I ran across a few sites that listed year of release on some figures but not others and I wondered if there was a site that did this consistently. I looked at Sager's but didn't see dates. Basically, I plan to play the fool's game and anticipate which figures I should pursue first due to possible retirement over the newer releases until I catch up a bit.

Thanks-

Eric

I see I've stumped 86 of you. :D

Perhaps one of you could answer the year of issue for a few specific sets?

Scots Greys in Napoleonics.
Black Watch in Napoleonics.
Royal Horse Artillery in Napoleonics.

Thank you for any information.

Eric

My suggetion would be to go back and look at each brochure or Collector's magazine. When it first shows up there will be the approximate release date. However, based on those, your best guess will be year only. My suggestion is that if you want to know the specific month it came out is to write to King and Country.

Another suggestion, but much more time consuming, is to look at the dispatches. They are published here but you'll need to go back through every King and Country thread since the beginning.

I do remember the Scots Grey being discussed here a year ago so I know it happened after this Forum came into being. It may help you if you use the search function and just look for threads started by Pete Reuss since Pete is the one usually posting the dispatches.

My understanding of release dates are:

Scots Grey - 2006

Black Watch - 2005

Royal Horse Artillery - 2007

Keep an eye on the forum...a compilation of Dispatches is on the way...more details to follow.

Thank you, CapitolIron - just what I was looking for to plan my purchases.

Bill Sagers website is very squared away as well- he lists a lot of the King and Country sets there at his website via the old catalogs.
