For anyone that collects Patriot Nap Figures, I just noticed that NA024 has been retired on the Patriot web site.

Young Guard - Tirailleur kneeling, biting cartridge NA024

The NA027 set was retired last month.

Young Guard - Mjr. Sergeant under fire NA027

Aussie Monty,
Thanks for the threat.
Very soon, a few more will be reitired too.
Glad that our Napoleonics are so successful.

Best regards
Robert

I hate to bring this up again but If you shrink the size down a bit they would be A LOT more successful!
A size right between 54mm and 60mm like what britians did with there figures would be a perfect size to capture both markets sales.
I think the larger size put off a lot of collectors myself included because if these were smaller in size I would have bought them all but stopped after the first few figures because they were just way to large looking next to any of my other figures.
Too bad becuase I think the figures are nice looking figures at a great price also!
Just think of all the extra money you would save on metal also making them smaller???:D

Tim
I heard it, loud and clear.
After the next 5 Naps, we'll shrink the size down to what you and others have suggested.
So just wait a little bit and see if you like them.
Robert

Agreed that a reduction in size would significantly expand their market.
The animation is great but they really don't fit in with any other maker.
I would love to mix them with K&C.

Good news if they really comply!

Sorry Robert! I,m sure you must want to choke me by now?:D But I think this change will work in your favor, if I didn,t like your figures and didn,t think they were real nice I wouldn,t keep driving you nuts about the size.:D

Robert,

I now have an issue.

I have brought 2 sets of all your Nap's and Chinese sets to date (66 figures & $1,500 USD).

The size issue was a small issue to me and if anything set your figures apart from K&C, Britains, so on.

What are all the collectors that have purchased your figures and supported you to date going to do with two sizes of Patriot figures.:(

Not happy Robert.:mad::mad::mad:

In deed! I build a little Patriot scene, becorse the size of Patriot figs are different to other producers. If you change the size, the figures on that little diorama will be lonesome lost boys... - as I know german Elastolin soldiers (Wikings, Normans and so) I also like this nearly 70mm size, and your figs are very welcome in my "Elastolin-like" collection.

I am sorry but I must agree that the change to a more conventional 58-60mm size will be very well received by the majority of us. These figures are too nice to not join large dioramas of their brethren. It is never easy to change sizes but those who like the large figures still have several to choose from and the rest of us will really appreciate your more conventional sizing. Like Tim, I really look forward to your new size Robert.

The market for 60mm size is exponentially larger than what you now offer.
The larger size sets will just become more of a collector's item while your new business will grow with many more customers.
I have several of your sets and will be happy to keep them in my collection.

Hi All,

Tim,
Don't worry, I won't choke you :)
I do appreciate your interest in our figures and constructive input all the way from day 1, and it's too bad they don't fit into your 54 mm collection.
I know you are not the only who has problem with our size and your comments are valid and true.

Sorry for the confusion. I should have been more precise when answering Tim's comment about the size.
Yes, we'll shrink down the size a bit but not down to Britain's size or 54-60 mm, and hope that the 54mm collectors can display ours in their collection without noticeable difference.
Our size will still be +60mm.
Disregarding how people measure their figures, we are thinking of doing ours with 60 mm from ground to eyes, + head gears, and the base as thin as possible. The base on our previous figures were too thick.
So they will still fit into your existing Patriot Naps.

Robert,

Thanks you for your clarification on the size issue, happy again. :):):)

I look forward to supporting you into the future, you have a great product, reasonable priced with some excellent poses and some of the good old standard poses, great mix.

What will the next five figures be. ;)

Well now I am confused and perhaps disappointed. Measuring from the shoe sole (top of ground) to eyes is a more accurate way to do it than most conventions but 60mm for that measurement seems pretty close to what you have now. That would still make your figures larger than even K&C (at 56-58). Any reduction would be helpful but K&C height would be even better. I really think you would find they would be much more popular at the more standard size, I know they would to me.

Spitfrnd,
I would suggest to wait and see the final products.
Although it will not be exactly the size of KC, it should be quite close.
Robert
