I thought that I would share my quick diorama that I created containing figures from the Retreat from Russia series. Try not to be too critical as I am relatively new to this hobby. It all started last summer when I noticed some interesting figures while on vacationing in St. Petersburg. I did some searching when I arrived back home and discovered First Legion, Britains, and John Jenkins. The figures in this series are amazing. I enjoy the emotion and detail that each figure conveys. The wind swept tattered clothing is a nice touch. I hope that you enjoy my photos!
Best,
Matt

It looks great Matt and it is an awesome series from FL cheers for posting some pictures mate.

Good on you Matt, this is excellent and agree, a fine range of figures. Have a look at Black Hawk toy soldiers also. Robin.

Nice diorama Matt....

these are the best production figures depicting this tragic retreat, and it seems that the range is still growing.

The other makers of figures from this event are Tradition of London, sculpted by the late Allan Caton (aka TROOPER) and available as painted or castings, Fusilier who make the biggest range, Manes Marzano Collection and Black Hawk.

A very good display for someone newish to the hobby. I think you have portrayed the despair and conditions, the retreating army endured, rather well. The excellent collection and quality of the figures aided you and the bleak scenery made me feel cold. Well done. Regards Greg.

Beautiful figures, beautifully displayed. Well done, Gebhard

Great job Matt, beautiful figures, placed well, can just feel the cold and desperation. Chris

Very nice. I think the sledge adds a lot. And although other companies have ventured into this topic, I am unaware any manufacturer has covered it in this depth with, for example, representatives of so many different units and nationalities. Although it is French, Napoleon had a truly multinational army in 1812 and I like that this is so well represented here.

Really nice display keep the photos coming.

Tradition on London has a some of the German States represented, like these I have painted:
