I don't talk about high of the gap, but about depth. Look the interstice between mudguard and top of the tracks on a FOV or an Honour Bound tank, U can see all the top of the track; look on this JS2, U can only see approximately a third.Here is a photo showing the gap between the mudguard and the front of the track at the sprocket. The gap is small in this photo but I have seen other photos where the gap was bigger.

I think that is, the sculptors carve a single block of resin. They should carve, first the body, then wheels, then assemble, finally add metal tracks. That would be definitely better detailed
