Just yesterday I posted #3 photos of my new diorama of a Hong Kong area Park with some water frontage of a lake or pond on a 22 by 16 inch table top. I had at first intended to add K&C's set# HK209 of a Dragon boat "Champion Racing boat". But I then decided to just leave it where it was on my main SOHK display which has a large "harbor area". Then late this morning I decided to put the HK209 set on the "water" area of the new diorama and it looked so nice to me that I decided to leave it there. Please see #5 photos below.

Thanks for your comments! Yes, all three of the K&C Dragon racing boats on a larger lake or river area would look great! It would also be a great expense as well! But I am happy to have one of the Three dragon racing boats in any case.

Hi Gary,

Your HK209 dragon boat looks great on the lake. It would be nice to have two dragon boats racing side by side, but then you would have to make the lake larger to fit two boats. Perhaps, you could add a few more spectators on far side of the lake, provided it does not deplete your main display.

Best Wishes, Raymond. :)

Hello Raymond:

Thanks again for your further comments to my "Revised" Thread/posting on my new Hong Kong Park diorama now with the K&C set HK209 "Champion Racing Boat". As of now I have #8 people figures in the "park" and #8 boat crew members which is in balance for whatever that is worth. I was going to add K&C set HK206 entitled "Mother & Child" to the park near the shoreline. But this set turned out to be too heavy for the "ground cover" consisting of sand and fake grass and it sunk in such that it did not work out. I then placed the HK206 set by the Gittins fish pond on the left side of our main SOHK display which had been depleted a bit by sets transferred to the new Park & Lake diorama and it looks fine there.

By the way, I have been recently adding a lot of 1:18 scale die cast car models of USA made cars from the 1950s, I'll send you some photos near the end of this summer. Thanks again for your response to my revised Thread!

Best regards, Gary
