The old D Day Jimmy truck is a beauty and fetches quite the price now, was just wondering if Andy may give us an updated version for those of us who missed it first time round?

On just recently went on e-bay UK for £112. Not sure that is a hefty price I would think the secondary market is the place now for some very good bargains if one looks.

Fair enough Mitch, I'd seen it for big bucks a year or two back and thought as it is an older model it would hold it's price maybe, happy to be wrong there and will keep an eye on ebay because I wouldn't mind picking it up at that price.

(As you may be aware I can't answer your threads, so just wanted to say superb paint job in the figarti section, really good work^&cool^&cool.)

K&C has done two GMCs, the "old" series that was all closed up and the DD40 that was totally open. I think we need a new "closed" version for winter to join the Battle of the Bulge series.

I hear what you are saying Gary, and that would be good, but would just love another open truck with seated passengers for D Day.

I did not know. I can reply to yours so, it nothing to do with the ludicrous big zapper or whatever names it goes by that hides both parties from the owners so, remove the requested mode and have a natter. You know from our many private conversations I don't see the need for grown men to have to use these items myself but, each to their own.

As for the jimmy truck a new one would be nice and cheers for the comments about the Flak

YES!!!!! That is a piece looooong overdue. I need a GMC truck in my collection. No D-Day scene with Amercans is complete without it! In fact many D-Day American vehicles need to be done or updated. K&C has done a great job bringing us German and British vehicles but the most numerous and ones we all see in the newsreels they have released in a very stingly fashion. I'm thinking M8, halftrack, Dodge 4x4, fuel/water trucks, amphibious jeeps and DUKW, Weasel/Buffalo etc etc.

Well said that man! I would really like the chance to just get say three trucks full of GI's or Tommies moving off the beaches. Throw in our assorted signs /MP's/ Motorbikes and Jeeps and you've got a lovely scene. I don't like to bombard Andy with requests all the time as it must get on ones breasts after a while, but hopefully we may get to see another Jimmy in the future.
