Hi There,

Our master-painting team just finished some ‘follow-up’ figures to add on to the recently-released ‘DISCOVERING TUTANKHAMUN’ set of 4 personalities closely involved with the discovery of the boy pharaoh’s tomb in 1922.

As you can see we have several Egyptian labourers carrying a few of the massive hoard of precious antiquities out of the tomb while two of the local site foremen enjoy some refreshment thanks to a pair of enterprising water sellers.

Meanwhile, another resident of the burial site is about to put in a surprise appearance...

A few figures... some sandstone blocks... additional scaffolding... and a Sphinx statue or two equals... A whole lot of fun in a relatively small space.

All the best and… have a great weekend!
Andy

Ok Andy you are hitting this series in spades. Another restless night considering these new sculpts. Your imagination knows no boundaries, just perfect. Not wanting to wish my life away, but come on 2022.:salute:: , Robin.

Andy,

You are knocking this series out of the park!👍👍. I am tempted to say something I haven’t said since I was about 6: I want my mummy!!😎😎

Very creative! A new dimension for Egyptian and archeological subjects collectors.
I would still like to see more Ancients, however. Perhaps Egyptian warriors returning
from battle with prisoners and booty. Additional structures are always appreciated as well.

FANTASTIC!

This is so cool; what an awesome sub-theme of Ancient Egypt. I have the set of four on my Christmas list and will most definitely be looking at these new additions in 2022. I esp. love the "surprise appearance" and the figure carrying the statue of Nefertiti.

Thanks Andy and K&C Team for this new collection. Can't wait to construct my pyramid scene over the Christmas holiday. 2022 is certainly looking bright!

{bravo}}

Got the set of four figures on order myself as well. I have lots of ideas for them too and the add on additional figures all look great including the Mummy, Boris Karloff or Boris Johnson !

Dad & I love the series.
We always wondered why there weren't any archeological ties (Poirot would love it, thought we). Solved. Andy already did a great job with Napoleon's Expedition (there was archeology there). And we have our K&C Egypt bldgs. in WW2 Desert Campaigns, The Victorian Nile Campaigns, and and anywhere else we can (such as behind Caesar & Cleopatra).
Someone will make armies. It will mainly be people hacking at each other in loin-cloths, but chariots and various weapons and early armor could be interesting.
Thanks K&C, really great releases recently!
Good posts on this thread. Like 'em all.
