At last I have finally laid my hands on this marvelous set! I have been searching for it for quite some time now and to at last have it in my collection is a joy! I've stated many times how great King & Country's American Civil War figures are and I PRAY that the range is not completely dead. The detail on these southern gentlemen is beautiful in every aspect from paint to sculpt, and the likeness to each is spot-on. If King & Country would produce ACW as often as their other ranges they would probably have my pick as the top company for my ACW collecting. Pray, pray, pray...

Very happy to hear you finally 'snagged'that little set...Those two 'Generals' sets are kind of special for me too! Among the very best of K&C's ACW series and my all-time favourite was our Confederate Cavalry figures (both mounted and dismounted).

A member of this Forum and an old friend, Rob Jones from the UK (and occasionally Australia) 'shot' some amazing displays and dioramas using them. Maybe if Rob sees this he will repost them...They were and are stupendous!

Best wishes and congratulations on your recent acquisition! Andy.

Thank you so much for the wonderful reply, Andy! I picked up the set with Lincoln and his generals not too long ago, but the Confederate set has been sold out for a while. It has been incredibly hard to find! The only Confederate Cavalry figure I have is of General Stuart and he's by far the best looking Stuart produced by any company to date in my opinion. Maybe I'll get lucky and be able to grab a few of the mounted cavalry to join him from the secondary market.

Can you give any hints if there are plans to have future additions to the ACW range? You'll at least have me as a customer! :D

Hi Cameron [a good Scots name],
At this time K&C are fully committed to certain other series and ranges that alas do not, for the moment, include American Civil War.
However I am sure we will return to it at some later date as we have done with the three previous ACW series K&C of the past.

In the meantime keep your eyes peeled for those more recent Confederate Cavalry.

All the best and happy collecting! Andy.

Keep praying , maybe the toy soldier god will answer your payers ??
With K&C everything is possible

Thank you so much for the reply, Andy! I'm disappointed to hear that the American Civil War range is not a focal point at the moment. I sure hope you do return to it in the near future because your company produces such wonderful figures. I would have to say that my favorite from this set is General George Pickett.

Cameron, I'm afraid it's been that way for a few years but one thing I've learned with Andy is never say never!
