Robin Hood (1 Viewer)

But which version ^&grin^&grin^&grin^&grin

Men in Tights
Disney
Prince of Thieves

Errol Flynn and Basil Rathbone, 1938

Agree. Been pushing for this for years, but to no avail. The series has legs as it could include Normans which would open up other conflicts for their use. As Andy would say, never say never^&grin. Think as it is an iconic period of history as everyone knows about Robin Hood, it would sure to do well in sales. I use the reference Robin Hood all the time to people to correctly spell my name, as Robyn is usually reserved for girls. :wink2:Robin. Robin. Robin.

Still think there is ample support for this series ( for me the Errol Flynn style), leading into Normans and dove tailing into other series, Vikings, Saxons etc. The series is iconic and everyone knows about it, plenty of scope for releases, really think it would be a winner. Guess we need a ground swell for it to become reality. K&C would do it so well and once again put it on the map as a top player in the TS market. Hoping lots of others agree and support it if it ever comes to reality. Robin.

Discussed this issue at my local TS shop this weekend as it happens and have to the say the consensus was zero interest! which one would you go for? Errol? Kevin? just doesn't do it for me at least, anyway I don't want anything to distract from Great War releases until at worst until 2018.....:wink2:
Wayne.

A drab conflict associated in trench warfare and mud.{eek3} This series would brighten up the mood:wink2: Nothing is going to shadow the WW1 releases, there will be heaps between now and 2018. Have to work on you to convert Wayne.^&grin, Robin.

Just not into green tights Robin :rolleyes2: but don't think that after ECW, King Arthur and the upcoming Three Musketeers that Andy will go down the Robin Hood road but as he often says 'never say never'.:wink2:
Wayne.

Excellent idea! I grew up with The Adventures of Robin Hood with Richard Greene, on ITV in the 1950s. The Errol Flynn film has to be the great swashbucking film of them all!

Great ideas !
Richard Greene's show was wonderful, loved Archie Duncan, Alexander Gage, Bernadette O'Farrell etc.
K & C would do a great Robin Hood.
