Gentlemen,
It is a sad day when it has to be announced that my good mate from the Mother Country "Rob" is taking a break from the Forum. The events and postings over the last few days have taken their toll on him and he has decided to spend some time enjoying his collection and not gettting involved in one of the things he enjoys most -- Chatting to his worldwide mates on the Forum.
Rob, cobber, you will be missed. Return soon.

Wouw, that's a shock to me! What happenend? Nearing the end of the world? Germany lost (again)? Thnaks fro keeping us informed. Yes, hope Rob will come back soon as he will be missed.

Rob,

I followed through that thread and however much unsavoury don't take a break, just use the Ignore function. Much better imho. ;)

Hey guys,

After a short break to calm down a bit I am very happy to be back amongst you all to continue sharing the hobby I enjoy so much.And several things have become clear or been made clear to me by friends and loved ones over the last 24hrs.

1.There are over 1,000 people on this forum and I only do not get on with one of them,thats not too bad when you think of it.

2.From all the mesages I've had I am satisfied that the vast majority knew exactly what I was saying in that thread and dismmised the alternative given.

3.Peter and Shannon are decent,good,tolerant people and stamp down on baiting and offensive posts whenever they find them,its up to us to flag them up if we see them first.

4.I would miss you all a great deal if I left.

Finally a big thank you to all you who have sent me messages over the last 24,its really good to know how many friends I have on here:)

Also a special thank you to Brett,Howard and Simmo,I know it can't have been easy offering support to me for obvious reasons,but you gave me neutral,reasoned objective advice,and here I am again!:)

Aaaaah glad to see that you are back already...wouldn't want to miss the "Dispatches" excitment ;-).
