Did you know both Aron "Sparky" and Jeff "Sauerkraut" play on the Roosters team? Jeff missed this practice and photo spread but Aron was there!
They have a full schedule of games this year by the looks of the calendar so lots of opportunities to cheer on the teams :)
And we all get to work at the Living History Fair in July this year - me in a tent selling product and the guys playing Base Ball and helping me in between matches. Think I got the short end of the stick on that deal.....

Sometimes I feel bad for them sweating like mad on the hot days and they are wearing long sleeves, shirts tucked in and pants while I watch in shorts & a tank top getting a nice tan

HA - once in a Blue Moon.....YES ^&grin

Looks like I may have some fun updates on these guys again!
We are in the process of trying to convince Stacie's husband "Walleye" to start paying again. He joined for the "All-Comers" match on Saturday to learn the 1864 rules for when the Brooklyn Atlantics are in the area later in August.
You can see myself, Stacie and baby Hudson on the bleachers towards the end of the spot!

And you may see "Mitten", "Sauerkraut" and "Spud" of the Fillmore Fungi (re-named Sparkles after his original Rooster's name of Sparky!) playing with the Afton Red Socks. "Stache" plays with the Fungi for travel games, but Afton for his home team! It was a fun afternoon watching those who played the 1864 rules previously working with the ones who had not.
Not a horrible way to spend a sunny Summer afternoon!
