Roll call for London show in June (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,

I've made it .... I'm in the 'wilds' of Sherwood Forest now, heading to meet up with my wife's relatives in the moors of Yorkshire... if I survive that journey, I'll be back to London on Tuesday to rest up for the festivities on Saturday week :)

Glad that you have arrived safely. I was up in Nrth Yorks a couple of weeks ago. Whereabouts are you going? I stayed a few miles from Seamer, but unfortunately did not have time to visit ken jackson at maison militaire. If you manage to fit in a visit I wonder if you might get some photos of his new showroom and perhaps consider writing a small piece for TSC on his new setup.

I'm back in Nottingham to night, made a visit to RP World Models today and had a good talk to Bob Prati and saw the production some of the new Tradition AWI figures.

See you on Saturday, 12:00 @ ATS, then refreshments with the others,

Will be landing in Heathrow in 3 sleeps. Will be good to see everyone on the other side of the lake. Trying to catch a night ride on the eye, a ripper tour, a stop at the very excellent british museum, and I will see if they'll let me in at parliament. Oh yes, and toy soldiers too. This trip is going to take a lot of beers at night and a hell of a lot of redbull in the morning. Looking forward to royal national beans for breakfast. Wow that is the gastroinstestinal equivalent of a chinese star to the face.

I'll be there subject to health. Will have a small child in tow hopefuly RAMC junior but if he does not behave then I'll have to take his sister heaven help me!:eek:

If MKL don't have any Britains Flower fairies she will not be happy. Give her five years and I'll see if I can influence her into collecting K&C.

Thanks!:DI really wish I was going! Mum said that I could have if I knew directions to the hotel from the train station because apparently otherwise I'd get lost, I suggested she give me a map, she suggested I empty the dishwasher?:eek:

Plus I'd need to go up and come back on the same day, so I'd be late for the show, and I'd be shattered!:(
 
unfortunately due to the over amorous celebrations of the armadillo when usa scored the winner today the coonskin hat has had to go to the dry cleaners.

Therefore I am sad to report that neither will be attending the show on saturday . The armadillos visit to the priory is long overdue :)

I will however be attending :)

If possible (aside from photos of the Britains stand) could someone take some photos of Asset, ATS and Silver & Gold and anything else that you see that has a ceremonial flavour (royalty)

These are on my list to cover along with Sarum etc.......going to be a hot day so will need plenty of refreshments! :rolleyes::D
