Have started painting my new Roman Barracks to go with my TGM 9th Legion figures and a few JJD Romans.
Need to put doors on, some open and some will be closed. Lot of cleaning up and a further coats of paint for the wooden window edges, may put some wooden shutters on the ones where i have a closed door. Have to insert the wooden uprights in one of them and will give the roof tiles a 'bit of age'.
The design is a half barracks , to be put at the back of my cabinet as a form of built backdrop. the first two pictures are of a representation of a Cav barracks [2 pictures], like the one used at Chesters Fort on Hadrians wall, while the other is a Legionnaires barraks.
Am happy so far.
