Roman Fort with Thomas Gunn Romans. (1 Viewer)

It's looking great Greg, before long it'll be able to hold a full legion if your pocket allows !:salute::{sm4}
It's a wonderful project you've undertaken and when I see those Roman sentry towers they always remind me of that great film from the 1960's Fall of the Roman Empire ! If you've not seen it I highly recommend it to Roman fans.

Thanks all for the encouragement to continue with the project. The new area being built will contain tents and Romans in relaxing pose. The main battle area
will be at the front of the fort with another add on section. Those walls are 8mm wood dowel Tony. Regards Greg.

Loved that film when i first saw it Steve. Those were the times of large classical productions in film making with the likes of Ben Hur, Lawrence of Arabia, and Doctor Zhivago just to name a few. The acting was superior to today's lot in my opinion. Nice to hear from you and i enjoyed your FIW diorama, something i have a keen interest in Regards Greg.

Oh not to forget Waterloo, which I remember my Dad taking me to see as a kid and started me on the Airfix Naps !
Thanks Greg, glad you enjoyed the FIW dio, not having much spare time at present, but will do another soon as I do.

Hi Greg
When you think of the technology in use, the weapons, the terrain and the foe, whichever side you were on. I can't help but thinking, God what strength these men had back then ! Yes a fascinating time, though with so little in the popular conscience !
Another dio ready to go soon as daylight comes !
Steve
