Roman marching camp (2 Viewers)

Hi All,
I've been working on a modular diorama system representing a roman camp to display roman figures, primarly First Legion ones.
Here are the 2 first elements : a simple wall section and one with a tower.
Next elements should be a gate and another tower design.
Your advices on how to improve the diorama are most welcome.

I haven't seen you on the forum much lately, I can see why now. Very nice! ^&cool...is this for your own collection?

All I can suggest is that the edges of the base boards are painted green...:wink2:

Brad, next part will be the gate.
I'm currently working on it but it will take some times As I'll have to make some specific wall sections cast for that.
Barbarians have just arrived (still in the packets from FL)

The gate is outstanding, especially from the rear view, where the detail is most visible. Hope people get to see that when fully displayed.

A key to successful dioramas is often in the small details, the finishing touches, the extras. Our best diorama people can get more mileage out of their collection of jars, crates and broken furniture then by adding additional figures to a scene.

And the gate section is finished just in time to allow a sally out to repulse the attacking barbarians !

Thanks Brad.

The Stockade is indeed cast in resin (not be me) as I need a lot of these pieces.

The gates and tower are made of wooden stick and some laser cut balsa wood.
