Good to hear that the 2nd release is almost here. Thanks for the update.
 
I'm busy juggling my purchasing schedule. I will get the existing figures as soon as I can and I'm looking forward to seeing what the next releases are. My question though regards retirements. I think the first 'wave' of figures came out mid 2011 or so - how long do Collector's Showcase typically leave their product on the market before retirement comes?

As far as i know CS does not retire items they make a set # of sets say 300 and when they are sold out they are gone.Mike B.

Perhaps an official retirement actually seems the better option because I would have no idea how long (or short a time) it would take to shift 300 sets.
