Hi, i pre-ordered the STORCH! Anybody know when it will be released?

As a good manufacturer (like K&C and FL) the boss should write on the forum and let us know the progress

I am hoping that they're making improvements (to the canopy and the front engine cover or to safe packaging) otherwise I will not order from Figarti anymore.

I don't think the manufacturers have any obligation to post anything about their products on this site. It certainly is a bonus if they do. I would however expect them to perhaps have the relevant information on their own website.

I am a bit puzzled as to how you know they are not being released? and how you know there is an issue with the canopy and with the packaging? if they are not released yet.

Guys, I know your frustration, but if you like Figarti, we are used to it by now. I am biased, I consider Rick a friend and his products to me are works of art (as are others that I buy, no favoritism here!). That being said, I never get frustrated, I just know it will be cool when it comes out!

Patience in this case is a true virtue.

Right on Tom. Figarti is worth the wait. I am quitely waiting for the V2 Fuel Truck and the M31 Recovery Tank. Based on past releases, the wait will be worth it.

Guys,
Here's what I'm aware of.
I know there was an issue with the shipper for the Westcoaster.
Also there was a delay by the suppliers of the wheels which had been outsourced.
During that time I understand the factory have used the oppurtunity to do additional "drop testing" (from a second storey window no less!!!) and improved the packaging even further.
I know my shipment is on its way for Europe so I guess for Matt also but as mentioned before the sea freight can take up to 8 weeks.
I'm sure the wait will be worthwhile, it's a great plane at a great price.

Time's passing and it's almost mid-May

any word on the Storch?

Re the Storch, I had half a dozen flown in which all arrived safely last week.
The packagingis very good and for such a delicate looking plane the undercarriage is surprisingly robust.
It will go down well I'm sure.
As the sea freight left Shanghai at the same time I would anticipate arrival in the US (and UK) 2nd or 3rd week in June.
worth waiting for.
