Hi,

Thanks very much for sharing the picture of Rommel.

Just to confirm, it is 1/30 scale and the figure and bench are one piece ?

Cheers, Raymond.

Raymond,

Yes to both.

Brad,

Thanks.

I am looking for a figure with the closest likeness (facial appearance) to Rommel in Afrika Korps uniform.

There are so many Rommels out there, but not quite right to my eye.

K&C's rendition of "Monty" of the 8th Army is excellent.

Any suggestions?

Raymond.

Raymond,

What about WS 34, now retired however.

Brad,

Thanks very much for the suggestion.

Although retired, K&C's WS34 is still available at prices ranging from $25.00 to $36.00.

Both K&C Rommel's Greif (AK029)and Horch (AK046) sets have different Rommels, if I am not wrong.

There is a Figarti Rommel listed now on eBay at $25.00 (1 bid).

Collectors Showcase has a DAK set of Rommel with an adjutant.

Lastly, there are the Normandy Rommels (K&C WS126 and CS).

Thanks again, Raymond.:)

Raymond,

I think the best likenesses I've seen are WS 34 and the Figarti version. The Greif and Horch versions are not very good in that they look nothing at all like him; otherwise nice figures.

K & C also made a Rommel Staff Car, which looks a little bit like him.

I don't care for Collectors Showcase so that's not something I personally would consider.

Brad,
I just saw your thread of not liking collectibles showcase , are they not good??. Or is it just the Rommel??. I just bought the CS hanomag, First CS. Are they not Good? I do value your Opinion!. And If something is wrong with their products. I would like to know, Please.

What dont you like about CS Brad there vehicles are awesome must admit the figures arnt the best but saying that i got told by a reliable source the jumpers look great just curious?

I think CS make some interesting vehicles and I think their idea of a jumper was a great idea. I think their figures have come a long way since the early days. I don't want to give the wrong impression about their work.

Just to reiterate and agree with what NJJA said. Brad is a proffesional!!, Brad gave us his honest opinion. I would say more. But....
And for that reason He also has my respect.
