I spent several hours this morning roaming the halls of the hotel searching out various dealers and looking for treasures to buy.

I had a fairly successful time of it buying several sets of Trophy figures and a few other odds and ends. My loot includes:

Trophy Egyptian infantry for Tel El Kebir - 10 figures
Trophy Sudanese 11th Regiment - 6 figures
Trophy Sussex Regiment advancing poses - 6 figures
Trophy Civilians - 10 figures
Trophy Zulu Induna - 1 figure

Osprey Campaign series books on Roarkes Drift and the Anglo Zulu War

British Toy Soldiers - 1 Highland Sergeant carrying a cane ( WW1 era) this is a great looking range of figures.

All in all, I'm pleased with my purchases and I left a lot of Trophy Sudan figures behind for others to purchase. Oh, I saw a big box set of Trophy ACW figures for Gettysburg - it is a HUGE set. Didn't buy it though.

Fantastic. Hopefully, you can post some photos soon.

That's a nice haul Jim. I would consider that as having a good show and it's only the first day. Who know what tomorrow will bring, assuming your pocket book wasn't too taxed today!

I'm done with shopping as the window at the exchequer has closed :smile2::rolleyes:

I also had good luck in finding trophy sets, there were Zulu, sudan, Napoleonic, revolutionary war, civil war, boxer rebellion and American civil wars set that I saw. I picked up Zulu bd2 the water cart with four figures that was pristine as well as the fallen set of 6 british 24th, I got some nice zouves also, I missed out on some napoleonics though because I was to busy buying some little legion from ted toy

I was strolling around the show with Hawkeye. Sadly, no Trophy finds that I needed. I did one last walk around the the rooms today and many of the Trophy sets were still there.

Still looking for some pack mules.

Brian

Just my luck. I will bet next year there will be no Trophy {eek3}

What boxer sets did you get. That's my new Trophy collecting interest.

Most of the Trophy sets being sold in the room were available at the show. I left the show at noon and there were plenty of Trophy sets left. The Zulu sets were not rare sets, as for the Crimean and Sudan sets I have no idea if they are rare sets or not. Most of the sets were priced over $200. My guess is the rare sets were gobbled up fast.

Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come, more and more Trophy to choose from.

I found King & Country MG004 and MG006 , both MIB for $15 each on Friday afternoon.

They were mixed in with a bunch of other companies boxes. Andy
