A little diorama, I painted some 40 years ago, in my early beginning, with Humbrol
54mm Hinchliffe, sculptor C Sanderson, metal

This might help, Robin.

Note the wagons should not be on their side, copying film version. Robin.

Hello Sgtkillroy,
In the spirit of the Christmas Season thought you, as well as others who have already responded with a great set of replies, might appreciate seeing these copies of original source data. Note John R. M. Chard's signature on both the map and the Personnel Roll. Hope the Forum's limitations on transmission of images doesn't cause me a lot of extra work in formatting for posting. And I see here we go again with the size limits on jpgs! A veritable pain (6 iterations), I hope still legible! Should at least make honorary Lance Corporal out of this.

Here's my contribution: It's early stages yet and I've had to compress the diorama due to the kraal. I built the table and had the cover custom made. I've got other pics if anyone's interested.

This diorama depicts the latter part of the battle, as the hospital is lost. Remember the wagons should be upright unlike the film, as pointed out to me when I displayed overturned. This looks great, a few more Zulu's would not go astray. I know you are cramped for room with the Kraal, but the effect is still there. The cover is great for the dust aspect, all very very nice. Well done. Robin.
