I have just started collecting the Britains Zulu range - very nice pieces at a good price! Wayne - of the paddle pop diorama fame - constructed the first of the buildings I will require, which looks great. His speed of construction far outpaced my capacity to collect figures and organise terrain and a backdrop, so I cannot even pretend to offer a coherent diorama but I have placed a few figures in my sandbox just for scale.IMGP2632.JPGIMGP2633.JPGIMGP2636.JPG

Great words from a great man, Howard, but I just carried it home. Wayne is the artist, I am the patron!

Very good arrangement of the sand...:wink2: must have been a annoyance to a Zulu getting between his toes....{sm4}... Thanks for the kind words mate.
Wayne.

Wayne mate,
My compliments to you cobber if you were the builder. I'll have to keep my eye on that Jack whilst in Brissy. He must be the one Brett warned me about.^&grin^&grin
Cheers Howard

Great looking bldgs and good start on the Zulu line. Now you're hooked! :wink2: Chris

Nice 3d building, really like the roof texture, would be happy to have this building in support of my figures any day, store house next, thanks for sharing, cheers, Robin.

I believe that the opportunity to own a piece of Wayne's World is a possibility for an interested collector. I cannot speak highly enough of it!

Here are some more pics taken before Jack took delivery, it is the roof that makes it work ok, for those interested the roof is nothing more than hanging basket liner from any good gardening place.

That's one great piece of art. You are becoming one really good building builder. Simmo.

You would not get work greeting people as they enter the TS shop on a Thursday night to witness our discussions. You would have to stand there and apologise to them on the way out...particularly if Wayne is talking politics and Brett is talking social history!

Jack mate,
Just cancelled my plane tickets. Not coming to Brissy if those two roosters are going to talk politics and social history. ^&grin We need to be talking Lighthorse, Aussies in WW1, Tobruk, more Lighthorse and then all gang up on Andy about making my Centurion Tank.
Brett told me that he needed a Bunning's people greeter on duty on Thursday nights to watch out for Nile Gunboats going missing. :smile2: My Gunboat saying home in Melbourne.
Cheers Howard

When Wayne gets going, he can make it seem as though Brett is a man of very mild opinions!

Forget the gunboat - I have moved to the Zulu range, but you would make a friend for life if you sold one of your Matlidas to Wayne.
Tom flies in tomorrow - when are you winging your way north?

Jack mate,
I get in at 1115 hrs on Monday. Bunking with Tom for two nights. I think it was either Oz or Simmo that said bunking with a bloke from the Outback (Dundee country) wouldn't be such a good idea.
Tom just pick up a new (old) matilda on ebay but didn't want to sell it to me when I asked politely.
I want Obee to repaint it in green for a Borneo WW2 Dio. I think that was rather rude of him, don't you.^&grin^&grin
Counting the days. Cheers Howard

I promise no soap box rants about the evils of politics, I will champion Howards quest for all things Australian from Andy as I totally agree with that quest, I must say I like the idea of a Centurian tank tho and don't worry about a Matilda goods things come to those that wait.
Wayne.
