Thank you My Lady Ericka for making my evening there's never been a doubt in my mind that the efforts and planning by both Richard and Ken would produce a winner. The sculpting of the figures, detailing and painting are second to none. From what I see of the Hospital in the photos it speaks for itself and the detailing is outstanding. If what I see is just the begining of what's in store for us I can't wait to see what else is headed our way. Thanks Ken for releasing the photos to be shown not only have you made my day but I'm sure Joachim is beside himself. I've already got my Christmas wishes known realizing they won't be available at Christmas there's nothing like planning or hinting ahead of time. Once again thanks for the photos and as always the best headed your way......Joe

Sheesh,
as I mentioned in a reply to Damian in another thread, these are brilliant.
Tempting.....VERY tempting (no joke).
Cheers

Trust me on this, collect them all :D I know I will (or try to).

Lt, this is better than I hoped for and that is generally a good thing. Aside from that, it's Ian Knight approved. That is almost as valueable as a "KV bite of approval". Almost.

I saw the first pics last night and am very excited about this. Could barely sleep. This series has been announced long time ago, building up to high expectations, but it was worth the wait and delivered. Can't wait so see some glossy close ups.

Did they get Ian in as a consultant? He is apparently writing a new history of the Battle and it is much anticipated
Regards
Damian

He made some comments on the sets as he apparently got to review them, saying these are the best figures he has ever seen and the 24th actually have '24' painted on :). How cool is that.
There is a bit of text on the flyer stating this. It's in the scans posted.

WOW!!!!!! Those look incredible!!! Britains just keeps getting better every time. I also like the farm house also.
The Lt. must be in his glories with these new guys.
Looks like the coming year is going to be great for zulu collectors with these great new figures on the way and conte also to follow with new zulu range releases.

Mmm, yes, Conte. It must be very hard to top the WB ZW series won't it.
Timing might not be too well with two glossy and two matte series at once.

Those 24ths look great, the Lt. will have a great 08 coming, he deserves it. With these and Conte's coming, the Lt. must already be thinking his setups. If I collected metal, those are the two companies I'd buy. Britain's, do them in plastic some day the sculpts are fantastic. The building looks great also. Mike:)

Hello! I thought since you liked the Rev. Witt's house/ hospital you might want to see an interior shot. There was an account of Witt arriving back at his house and finding his wallpaper being torn down and his fine furnishings being strewn about...

Those are great Zulu figures. Teh best I have seen. Just one issue though when it comes to interior exterior type buildings it is difficult because you cannot display both sides at once. I have the Trophy La Haye Sainte and the original Britains Gates of Hougomot and the problem is that you cannot display both the soldiers inside and the attacker at the same time in a way that you can see both groups.
It looks like you might have overcome this with the way you have set up your display in the photo shoot.
I look forward to the flyer which should be with me this week.
Congratulations on a wonderful series

What a brilliant photo. Thanks very much for posting it.
Not so many thanks for the massive temptation to begin a new collecting range.....ONLY KIDDING. Seriously, these new releases are definitely steering me towards obtaining at least some items of a range that I previously had only marginal interest in.
Thanks Again
H

OUTSTANDING thats all i can say, both the gloss and the matt look like a must buy, love the buildings interior ,but how many buildings do i need, this will be the 4th lot,and i just recently purchased the Trophy hospital set oh well:DToo much of a good thing:eek:
Regarding, displaying interior/exterior sets, have you thought about a turntable, electric old record player? The local wedding cake shop has some fairly large cake displays, that rotate and appear to be on turntable:confused:

The Trophy Hospital set is a classic.
What other buildings do you have?
Some pictures would be great

Received my Flyer and Standard today and it goes without saying but going to anyway they by far are some of the finest figures ever done of the series provide by a Toy Maker to date. Ken's attention to detail is outstanding and I'm sure you'll all agree the figures show it. Got to give loads of credit to both Richard and Ken for spending the time and effort that's been put into what's headed our way. If this is a sample of what's headed our way hopefully I'll be able to find a way to continue to add it to my collection. Boy am I going to have fun as the figures arrive to be played with and photograph. Thanks guys and have a great time while visiting the British Isle there's no doubt our British cousin will be very pleased by what you've accomplished.......The Lt.

PS Harry just plan on adding the series to your collection you'll be sorry iin the long run if you pass on it......Joe
