That's one threatening sky, I think there is a fire fight in the air, so those bayonets are going to be tested. Robin.

Excellent scene Moe of some old classic K&C sets.

BTW, EA01 is the only set that I own which has bayonets on some of the figures. How do other collectors keep the darn things from breaking off?

Moe, it's best that when one of them falls in combat, you lay them down gentle and don't just knock them over. Especially in a mass casualty situation, like when a MG mows a bunch of them down. Be gentle with the KIA. For instance, I learned a long time ago to stop setting my shot down aircraft on fire. It ruins the paint. -- Al

Al, the last time that you advised me on an issue like this it had to do with rolling-wheels on toy vehicles. Not a week afterward, I was rearranging a display case and nudged such an item ever so gently. Sure enough, the darn thing rolled out of the cabinet and headed toward the floor and oblivion. I had a model in one hand, so this would have to be a "one armed stab" if the piece was to be rescued. In something less than a split second, I flexed my knees, reached out and caught the runaway about 18 inches from the floor. Suffice to say, you were right , Al. No more free-rolling wheels in my curios. And no more matches!:wink2:

Nicely done scene. I love that Matilda.

I have a person who is an expert at repairing bayonets, if you should ever need his services.

The A&S' have a lot of fighting ahead of them, so we can only hope that things work out!

Thanks Tom,

I bet the figures caused quite a stir when they were released. I'd think that the quality was considered quite good at the time. Hah, I make it sound like it was eons ago!;)

Nice one Moe - some really cool pieces as well. That bagpiper is classic. Well done!

Thanks Rob,

TF/Julie helped me with EA02. The set makes for a great complement to the 4-piece A&S infantry. Thoroughly delighted with both sets and the Matilda.:D
