Rose Miniatures LAH Review Stand (1 Viewer)

Hi,
while digging through my collection, I came accross a vintage Rose Miniatures Nazi Review stand. It is a mini diorama with a few figures, the leader included. If anyone is interested, I can send photos.

Does anyone know much about Andrew Rose (other than his obvious authority on the subject of toy soldiers). If my memory serves me correctly, I bought it off of ebay about 9 years ago and I could have sworn I actually bought it from him or someone selling it for him. Anyhow, it is a unique handcrafted piece of lead and wood in 1/32 54mm scale.

A question to clarify, Tom-do you mean Russell Gammage's Rose Miniatures, or are they Bastion Models by Andrew Rose?

I think you have jogged my memory and my confusion! John Eden took over the Rose Miniature line right?

Ok, I believe what I have is (Not sure who painted it, John or Russel), but it was part of a much larger dio I seem to remember at one point. I have the figures of Rommel and Hitler and the Review Stand, and I believe the seller (who I seem to remember as John Eden now) said it was painted in the 80s and part of a larger display. Anyhow, pictures shortly, it is a unique piece that I had never seen prior, I think the Rommel kit may still be available.

You guys have completed my puzzle! Yes, I believe this is a JG base that was put together with the Rose kits. I found my original paperwork and it was purchase from John Eden 7 years ago off of ebay. I had forgotten I had it and then was completely confused as to the makers b/c it had been so long since I had seen the piece. Thanks for the intel

1. Adolph Hitler Rose Miniature kit
2. Rommel Rose Miniature kit
