I was quite horrified to see and hear about the tragic deaths and wounding's of some fellow police officers in Canada this week. My thoughts are with their colleagues, families and friends during this terrible time.

Thank goodness the offender has now been apprehended without further injury to police and the public, well done RCMP....:salute:::salute:::salute::

This was a tragic event in our normally peaceful city . The RCMP did a remarkable job in capturing the suspect without further violence .

My family and i were in the area locked down for 30 hours to contain the suspect . it was a very tense time . The citizens of Moncton are to be commended for their adherence to the lockdown to let the RCMP do their job.

Now the grieving for our fallen heroes and their families beigins .

We have the deepest respect for all of those who protect us every day.

Shocking. I had to read the headline 3 times before it sunk in that this was really happening.

Hi Kirk, must have been frightening for you and the rest of the city: does anyone know what set this nutta off, to go out and gun down police officers??

Another case how society is going throughout the world. Good people losing there life for just doing there job or in the case of the shootings around the US, people minding there own business and losing there life. If this keeps going then the world is not going to be a pleasant place to live in in the future.
