Britains made three post-war vintage Royal Marine bands - -set no. 1291, set no. 2115 and set no. 2153. All 3 were 12 piece sets and all were made out of lead. I have attahced photos below. (They also amde a larger band set pre-war if you're interested.)

I am not familiar with the plastic sets -- have to ask someone else.

Pre-war, Britains made )also in lead sets 1291 and 1288. Here is a photo of set 1288. (In addition to the plastic sets, Britains has also made a Limited edition Royal Marine Band in their new line).

Also, for information on more recent sets, don't forget to browse through the Britains catalogues which are on the Treefrog site.
