This morning on the local news they have a reported in London and each day she gives a report on some "behind the schene" activity. Today's was the Household Cavalry praticing with other soldiers pretending to be the crowd. The idea being the get the horses used to the band music, the flags waving etc. so during the actual event, they don't get "spooked".
Anyway the reporter was saying the the Household Cavalry was a "mounted" unit.
{eek3} Well yea...that's what cavalry is.... right! It just seemed so odd to me to hear it put in those terms. ^&confuse
I still like to see the Household Cavalry. I guess that what collecing Britains soldiers does to you. ^&grin
