:) Hello Guy's! Has anyone heard of a Rumor that Andy, maybe giving us Later in this Year 2006; a ( 6-POUNDER GUN Team ) AND A( MORTAR Team ), for the British Army, ither for-- EUROPE / N. AFRICA? Also, some Member on Treefrog, mentioned the Free French fighting in Bir Harkim, N. Africa?

Hmmmm.....wonder where this rumor started?

All this is new to me. I don't think it's likely.

Cool johngambale,

LOL, what else is in the pipeline maybe a US Long Tom or something, just kidding, rumors are sometimes fun and especially if they turn out to be true.

Carlos

When I lived a former life in the USN, one of my favorite pastimes was starting rumors on the messdecks during a meal or while doing some other activity where sailors were gathered. A friend of mine and I would have a conversation about the rumor we wished to start and just made sure our voices were sufficiently loud enough to be heard by others within ear shot. Great fun. Perhaps someone is doing the same here.

Sometimes....rumors get started just by asking, "where did THAT rumor come from."

Michael

If I stand at a traffic light junction and demand that the traffic turn right upon my command, well sooner than later my shouting will co-incide with the changing of the lights! :)

Seriously though, I hope that some of the rumours come true.

I heard a rumor (and please don't tell anyone else ;) ) that Andy is retiring all existing World War II sets and then coming out with 60 new ones. Keep it under your hats. Loose lips.......

Whatever happened to the tank recovery vehicle and tank transporter (US or Brit) Andy was mulling to produce? This forum was abuzz with excitement late 2005. I can't wait for Honor Bound's German version (Bergepanther).

N-P, a King & Country M32 ARV would come in real handy to pick up all those knocked out Shermans once the new Panther hits the displays and dioramas.

I believe he said that he's either decided not to produce it or it was just an idea he had (but nothing definite).

Fred:

And the captured Tigers and Panthers will be shipped behind the American lines in one of these U.S. Army train transports.

That flatcar looks like it is bowing in the middle!

What is the weight of that tank in tons?

I have no clue. But you could check it out with these guys:

http://www.modelcrafters.com/

Great site for military train collectors. KC compatible but quite expensive and few selection in G (1/29) scale. Mostly in O scale (1/48)

Noli,

Talk to the man, not to me.

Very nice, I have a nice flatcar with a couple of Humvees on board.

I'll take a quick shot and post it shortly.
