Code for "appropriately sized for true 1/30." ;) That makes this one a must have for me, as I really like the sculpt and detail on this one. Really nice looking figure for a partisan.
To be honest, mate, I was underwhelmed. I'm not worried about his size, but compared to DAK troops, he is small.

Maybe it’s only my opinion but it seems FL figures are shrinking in scale. I have the Blackbeard pirate figure and he seems tiny in comparison to FL napoleonic war figures.

I prefer also bigger figures as Napoleonic range.
The FL WWII figures are the smallest of all other brands and sometimes it is not obvious to mix them together.

I agree the early Romans / barbarians large 1/30 more recent releases are small, I bought War Park once and never again, nice figures, but very small did not go well with KC and TG figures which I mainly collect, for some unkn ow reason, could be new factory who makes FL now, they are definetly smaller

I had initial reservations about the size years ago but have never had any since then. Focusing on it detracts from seeing how finely detailed and well sculpted they are.

I'd say that Britian's figures are noticeably larger than FL and their quality is all over the place as well.

That one Britian's US figure is just horrendous those boots and the overall sculpting is really really poor compared to most if their figures especially their WSS figures which look to be their best produced by far.

Yes, I do not understand why FL are so small in the WW2 The ACW and Romas/celts trye 1/30 his more new items are small , more like 1/35 scale, must be using amother factory to sculpt and produce, dont buy these very small

For the umpteenth time, they are 1.30 scale. Buy a 1.35 figure and place next to a First Legion figure and see for yourself. While you're at it, why not take a photo and post on here to try to prove your point, I'll wait.

i dont have apart from ancients and napoleonic which are 1/30 look at the photos mastercom posted compared to wb they appear very small

Like already mentioned it's not that FL are small it's that some Britians figures are HUGE.

I agree with tryfon.
I am still convinced that FL WWII range is noticeably small in regard of all the other brands such William Britain, JJD, Team Miniatures, Thomas Gunn, King and Country, ....
If it is a "true" 1:30 scale, so what about other FL ranges such napoleonic, Anglo-Zulu war and even waffen SS (in the same range) : 1:25 scale ?.
And this would mean that all the other brands would be completely off scale with "huge" figures ???.
In a next post, I will add photos of 1:35 scale plastic figures to assemble for comparison ( such Dragon DML, Miniart, Alpine, Tamiya, ...).
In the meantime, merry Christmas to all !!!
