I've been meaning to do this figure for ever but the ref was elusive.. I've finally located a reference for this in an old Blandford book on the Imperial Russian Army.
It is going to be a conversion of an Artmi figure, not quite as good as Historex Airfix. I'm just using him for nostalgia.

I found these images of that drummer of a figure made by Ukrainian maker VID, who posts here on the Forum and has a Facebook page too.

Thought he could be useful to you??

Hi John,

Thanks for those pics. Very helpful as thegive me clarity on the back views of the helmet with two bag tassels, the belt buckle and coatee view.

I do think that those (legging) buttons should not be there on those hussar-like boots, and the bearskin apron should be present.

Victor,

here are another couple of pics of the soldiers of that time wearing the Potemkin hat, a drummer and a musketeer.

Hi John,

tx again. I took another look at my refs.

This ugly uniform is from Potemkin's corp, From what I read, the overalls or leggings are generally wide, with lower leather reinforcements worn over short boots, a bit like the Antoine laSalle pantaloons.
Although shown in the pics now and then, there is no mention of the lower buttons, presumably used to fasten the overalls over the boots.

I like the tighter trousers and hussar boots for infantry while the wider ones for cavalry.

Me too. It seems more elegant. BTW, the figures on that polish website. They look very similar to those 18-inch fabric-clothed figures that I saw at the Kunsthistorisches museum in Vienna.
Those were made by a Helmut Krauss, who was featured in John Garratt's book on Connoisseur makers of Model soldiers.
So I'll be making my drummer with the tighter trousers.

I have also noticed that Speira Miniatures who print 3D figures, also has a Potemkin drummer and he has wide trousers with Hessian boots!

I've been getting some of thhier figures printed at 1:30, and most are quite good, easy to paint and great value too.
