Russian napoleonic conversions (1 Viewer)

I'll post some more painted figures on ebay from time to time.Probably not kits.
AIP has new Napoleonic Infantry sets to be released? Sounds good, I wonder what?Russians? Prussians? Austrians? One can only hope.

Heres a russain casualty figure that I tried to do out of 2 part putty. Its almost all scratch built except for the head, hands and sword.
I used a head and sword from fubars russians and the hands are from a conte mexican. It still needs some work and I,m no sculpter but I needed some more russian casualties.
With a little more carving and a bit of paint I think it,ll pass alright for just a dead figure.

Hi Tim

Very good job. You should be doing molds for them or get KV or one of the others to make a mold with the basick body and some different heads you could pic and choose from like a Frog Voltigeiur or some Light company skirmishers. Good job!

All the best

Great pics, and nice conversions Tim. I don't know how you find all the time you do to paint and setup like you do. Thanks for all the advice and humor at the Bunker yesterday. I like all your landscape work and trees. I will have to try some of your ideas, when I get done with my screened deck. Mike:)

Thanks mike I had a great time at the hobby bunker yesterday too, and thank you for the great tips also. We,ll have to get together and do that again, I had a great time.

Tim, I like your Jagers! I havent even done very many of those yet.
Cool dead guy too. Looks like a good fight in one of the many battles for towns in France 1814.
It's nice you guys can meet at the Hobby bunker, that would be fun. Keep the Russians coming.
PS, No Cavalry at least for now.I have the other project going + some French in the worx.

Hi Tim,

Your latest ones are great! I really like the Officer with the pack and the Pavlovs are very neat. Keep up the good work!

All the best

Dave

Fish, I love seeing your work. It is nice to see the Napoleonic era as a ongoing topic.
