artmabigor ,
There is a saying that he who he hesitates is lost. I think you could apply that saying when describing collectors not taking advantage of what First Legion is providing the TS Collector. Your setup looks very nice, I can't wait to see the finished version . Thanks for sharing your passion with us . All the best Gebhard

artmabigor,
All the best, Gebhard

Great photos, these figures really look excellent in «person». Thanks for your very realistic photos.

Merci beaucoup et a bientôt, revenez souvent,
Paulo

Love those Russians !! Can't wait till we can add the infantry figures. Who made the earthworks you are showing?

You just gave me an idea for new thread that I will post under "General Toy Soldier discussion"... let's keep this to opinions only please! :)

By the way, I love the look of those Russians! I see how you can be so easily enthralled to keep looking at them! Something to do on those dreary days at home... but what the heck... sunny days too! :)

Incredible artmabigor! Thank you for sharing your work. I visited your blog and was thoroughly floored:)! Your work in astounding and the perfect compliment to FL's creations. Is it just me guys, or do FL make the best horses you have ever seen? I have yet to see any FL mounted figures in person, but in these pics and others, the horses appear to have the same level sculpting and painting of Aeroart's horses! Thanks again artmabigor for sharing your over-the-top diorama's with us:D!

Actually Joe the FL horses so far are better than several Aeroart ones that have subtle mistakes in leg positions and faces.

I agree Artmabigor has a truly engrossing site. I very much enjoyed the photos and look forward to many more.

I thought those horses looked strikingly good Bill! But it's hard to believe my eyes when you consider the cost of a mounted Aeroart piece:eek:! NAP collectors must be in hog heaven w/ these FL creations. Thank you for confirming that my eyes are not deceiving me in the photos that I have seen of FL's mounted works. Sometimes seeing something in a photo vs. seeing it "in the flesh" is a stark contrast. In this case, it's good to hear that the photos are quite representative. I don't know how much longer I can hod out.....I will wait until the next range is announced before I make my first FL purchase. It's just a matter of time.

Attention Joe
The problem is that you can buy one figurine FL ...... I've started by buying a French infantryman sold on Ebay for me to realize the quality of these figures and since I have a true "addiction" to these figures .....
Since then, negotiations (with my dear and loving wife ...) are becoming harder !!!!!!!! :cool:You might even catch the "disease" than me .....
You will not be disappointed.
Artmabigor.
PS: I update my blog: topic "Progress work Borodino"
