S04 Winter Tiger (3 Viewers)

Very nice alex. You really do have a good talent at painting minatures.

"Actually this is for Ray (NMROCKS) and it was his idea."

Leave it to Ray, he's got great taste and you have great talent Alex, so the two go hand in hand. Just a superb paint job, a spectacular looking tank..................

"I wished Andy - would come out with another SL or regular release WINTER TIGER ! I mean alot of us missed that first one and this NEW Tiger Tank is much bigger and better in my opinion."

At the show I attended in PA yesterday, it was a toy soldier/GI Joe 12" action figure show and one of the Joe dealers had a WS 70 he was selling for 300.00 at the start of the show; no takers as the show progressed, so he dropped the price to 250.00, still no takers.

He brought it over to my table to compare it to the new KT; it looked tiny next to it, and also, tiny compared to the CS Winter Tiger. On the way out the door as the show was ending, a guy grabbed it for the original retail price, 200.00.

As nice as that one is and as outstanding as the crewmen are, we really do need a true 1/30th scale Tiger I from K & C..........and a Mark IV and a Stug and a Firefly and a Cromwell and a JS II. Hey a guy can dream can't he?

George, thanks, your checks in the mail:) really I've wanted this particular version for years but no one came out with a nice enough early version until Andy's Tunisian monster. I had planned on an HB when they did this version, alas, everything came out the best thanks to Alex's tremendous talent. I'm willing to bet in the not too distant future a very hot K&C sub catagory will be Alex's repaints, better gettum while you can!;)

Ray, it came in the mail today, the one with all the zero's at the end, thanks very much ;).

It's great to see so many of you guys get the exact version of a vehicle you want thanks to K & C and the talents of Alex, it's a nice thing to see, I'm happy for all of you who have taken Alex up on his incredible paint jobs, works of art really............

When George gets my check, it usually has many zeros but no other digits:D

That's ok Brad, you keep me in line, you don't owe me a thing (but a few bucks here and there would be nice........:p).....

Just wanted to let you all know that I recieved the repainted Tunisian Tiger from Alex in the mail today and this is my first experience with his work. The detail is some of the best I've seen and the work on the tracks and fenders looks so real you could get mud on your hands.
Thanks again to Alex for a superior job and I would recommend him to anyone who has an itch they can't scratch on there own, Alex is a great modelling artist.
Ray ::D:D:D

I knew I should have gone to that show.

Since I got a new camera for Christmas and I'm soooo happy with Alex's repaint, I set up my favorite K&C figs with it and call it relaod.
These figures are from the winter 88 and they look great replenishing ammo on my Wittman Tiger.

Ray,
Thanks a million for sharing; those winter 88 crewmen look awesome along with the tank, you are one lucky guy to have a repainted winter Tiger AND the original winter 88 as well, good for you........

Wow! That is a great repaint! The figures look great too.
Semper Fi!
Rick

How much did the repaint cost?

Hi Kurt,
I would suggest you Pm Alexdakar and I'm sure he'll quote you a price, I will say for me who had wanted this particular model for years it was well worth the price and Alex's work is second to none.

All plans are looking good for the west coaster, can't let those east coast guys have all the fun.
I look forward to seeing you there.
