Recently I've been doing some selling and have come to the conclusion if it were not for Bill Sagers site I don't know how I could ever identify what I am selling.
The one gripe I have always had about K&C was that the items were not numbered on the individual pieces. From day one I have always put a small tab underneath the base of each figure showing it's number, that helps. But over time some of those have become lost, also since I don,t display the sets as sets I have forgotten how many figures to a set.
Is there any other pictured reference for K&C?

There's another site but I forget the address. However, the one I use is Bill's. Since he redid the site, it's easier to use.

Also, if you collect First Legion, it's indispensable. Just like with K & C, it's the only site that I know of that shows the retired figures.
 
It's amazing how often I find myself on Sagers site. I wish someone would take the old pamphlets and take individual pictures of the sets. Things like the seaforths, Zulus, etc. I never know what goes with what.
 
Still, I always like to tip my hat to Bill as he is my dealer of choice.
 
With the Seaforths and the like, unless you had one of those big boxes, I've learned that complete sets are not easy to come by.
 
Just a tad off topic, but not really as Bill Sager appears in the opening post. Bill Sager really went far beyond what I would normally expect when he assisted me aquiring a Figarti "Uhu" - Heinkel He-219. A shrinking budget and available time has put the brakes on things for me, but Mr Sager will be at the top of my list when it comes to shopping for any future items.
 
Has anyone purchased from Sagers recently, I placed two orders one on March 9th and the other on March 13th and have received no updates as to shipping etc.
I did call them today and they said that they will get back to me later!...is this normal for them...did I mention that I already paid via Paypal!

Yes I have. I have found Occasionally there can be a bit of a delay in orders being fulfilled. But fulfilled they are and still arrive quicker than some other US sellers I have used in the past and now are my go to dealer in the US. I can only say I'm happy with the service I have received on my orders.

Thank you Steve, I guess I am not used to an order taking 11 days with no communication and no shipping confirmation.

Yes, they are my dealer of choice, and they can take a while sometimes.
 
It's possible Bill may not keep the items in stock and has to order them.

I placed an order with Sager's about a month ago. It took 8 days and an email from me to get my order shipped. He did reply promptly to my email and explained that he is out of town frequently, which he was at that time. That same night his wife emailed me and said it would be shipped shortly, which it was shipped the next day. I really appreciated the communication and how prompt they were to get back with me.

I still have no response from them after they promised to call me yesterday evening. It is bad customer service as simple as that, taking customers money immediately and then not fulfilling the order.
As to not having the items in stock, the customer should be alerted to this when they place the order (similar to what other merchants do). I just called them again and got a voice-mail. I will cancel my paypal transactions later today unless I hear from them - first time I ordered from them and surely the last!!!!

You mention not having the item in stock, that is why I emailed them in the first place. After 8 days and no activity I double checked the website to make sure I hadn't ordered something that was back ordered and that was when I emailed them. I hate you're having this problem though, I know how it is when you have paid for something and want it. I had a similar experience with an ebay seller not too long ago as well. Quick to take that payment, but slow to ship the product. Hope everything gets resolved for you.
