Hi Guys,

A couple of years back we produced a number of hand-made, wooden Chinese junks for a potential project that ultimately we did not go ahead with.

Jump forward a few years and we find a couple of these samples in our warehouse and decided to incorporate one of them in the recently produced Vietnam dio that featured our Viet Cong Sampan.

Why not, I thought, put the junk together with the Sampan to show a clandestine operation somewhere in the Mekong Delta sometime in 1967.

And here it is… Enjoy!

Have a great weekend,
Andy

Both great examples and certainly needing to be displayed Andy and Robin :salute:::salute::

Also really like the rustic pole-house and staircase buildings as well Andy. Makes for a terrific south east Asia scene.

Excellent work Andy and Robin using these sampans in different periods.

I really like those crouching Viet Cong / NVA.

The variety in uniforms and equipment is impressive and visually stunning.

Nice that they can be used both on a boat and dry land.

This is just another great example of the way K&C covers every aspect of a conflict.
