Hi Guys,
In 1600, after 150 years of civil war, Japan’s warlords divided into two factions following the death of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
On 21 October of that year, Ishida Mitsunari and Tokugawa Ieyasu met in a decisive clash in a mountain valley in central Japan called Sekigahara. By nightfall, 40,000 warriors lay dead and Tokugawa stood as master of Japan. Within three years, the Emperor himself would grant him the ultimate title — SHOGUN.
This legendary struggle with the Samurai and Ashigaru who fought it, have inspired King & Country’s all-new 'Samurai Warriors' series. Capturing the style and techniques of feudal Japanese warfare, this unique collection begins with a selection of the Ashigaru foot soldiers. In coming months other individual Samurai warriors and leaders along with more Ashigaru infantry will be released.
Now, take a closer look at this new classic Japanese series. Thanks for watching and happy collecting!
All the best,
Andy
