The secret is not to bring the little lady at all!!!! She will be diverting valuable toy soldier funds to the River Center Mall just next door. The promises that have to be made to her for getting to go to the show, forget it. The Menger Hotel is a great historic venue i. e. the Alamo next door, the place where Teddy recruited the rough riders; etc. But some dummy built a modern shopping mall right next to it.......
Go with a treefrogger and let the wives visit at the house is my approach!

Thanks! It was nice to actually get to post part of my collection for the first time on any site I have been involved in. That is the great thing about inviting a tree frogger over for a stay. I was amazed that I could still remember every maker for every group. The pictures represent out about half of my collection, so as time goes on I will post more now that I know how.

If I were to wear head gear it will probably be my German Southwest Africa slouch hat with kokarde..or East African Pith Helmet....but then again who knows...there could be any of a number of Pickelhaube's....Raupenhelms....

Then again retaining the allure of anonymity is quite possible.........I would hate to spoil the fun of those wondering "who is this crazy Ludwig"

I shall be introduced to you personally however.

Festivities kick off Friday night the 25th from 5-8 pm revealing the show figure. Confederate civil war general
John Bell Hood. ! A treat for civil war collectors I'm sure.
