With air-dry clay. Each bag is made individually and then imprinted with textured pattern of a strainer's mesh, stacked, painted and weathered. This way, you can make almost any shape of sandbag barriers.

Gordon uses a similar method to make his...I love sandbags...and you can never have too many of them.

Here is the AA gun sandbag emplacement with a bit of added dramatic snowing effect. I don’t have an AA gun so a howitzer here for scale purpose. Hope you all like it as much as I enjoyed making it.
