Some WIP images.
First add glue tot he sides of the styrofoam piece, to make it stronger.
Planning how to set up in the area.
Then texture the base.
More planning, then texturing and painting. I later add Woodland Scenics turf and grass material.
Later dry brush over the bring the texture out.
Than combination gives a result similar tot he JJD bases

Very nice indeed! I love this range and you did a fine job of representing it with this nice set up.
