Hi, does anyone have updated contact info for Patrick of Sarum Soldiers? I know he still does a few sets now and then and I wanted to reconnect with him, any help is greatly appreciated.

Tom, I spoke to him last Saturday at the London show and it appears that Patrick is back in business. I assume that the contact details are the same?

Still in business or back in business? Sarum made some nice figures. Whimsical, delightful, funny, figures:)

Same thing really  Perhaps I should have said that apart from STILL going to shows Sarum is BACK selling as a business. Either way the figures are available.

Two years ago, Patrick Wallis decided to sell Sarum and focus on mantaining his job as a banker in the City of London. He had a closing down sale. It seems now that the City of London is in a spot of bother so maybe he has opted to go back to toy soldiers.

Hi There

As far as I know they are out of business. At least I heard they were out of business a while back. If they are still working WHocker will have a link to them on his website.

Great soldiers when you can find them. Are you trying to find a particular set?

Hello Jeff,

Thanks very much for posting your pictures of Sarum Soldiers from the London Show.

Sarum Soldiers must be getting back on track, but not quite up to speed yet.

Cheers, Raymond.

Hello Dave,

Thanks very much for responding. I have just checked the WM Hocker website.

Sarum Soldiers is listed as "Sarum Soldiers (retired), UK, Patrick Willis".

Please see Jeff's post just after yours. That is the reason for my asking.

I was looking for figures of Winston Churchill.

Jim Hillestad's wrote an excellent article on Churchill in TS&MF magazine sometime ago.

As I recall, there was a picture of a Churchill painting at Chartwell which I am looking for.

Best, Raymond.

:)

Can concur here, I introduced David to Louis after Louis bought a one off piece. David can secure just about anything or give you the history. He has brought me much joy to my collection over the years and much sorrow to my wallet!!!! I recently obtained the Stampede set (Sarum) from David. That said, Patrick is back in business slowly but surely, there is contact info in the thread.

Michael and Tom,

Thanks very much for the information.

I have purchased several items from this seller.

Yes, he does list Sarum figures on a regular basis.

In fact, he has 6 Sarum figures/sets currently listed as of now.

Kind Regards, Raymond.

:)

Thats great news I want several of the sets he made for Christmas Dinner and Mess Night with the great looking Table and Indian Servants.

I will have to check out that dealer too maybe I can convince my wife to let me get a set for Christmas...
