Does anyone know what happened to Sarum Soldiers? I was real interested in getting the bar room brawl and the poker table set from them in casting. But they are no longer on the Web. Unless they changed their web site. ANy help? Or perhaps you know of some other manufactue that might have some poker players, either painted in Matte or castings. Thanks.

Hi Louis,

I'm sorry to tell you this but they have closed their doors. They went out of business in the past year and are very difficult to find. My suggestion is to keep a weather eye out on ebay and the UK toy soldier auction sites tied to Vectis and Toy mart.

I have seen some on ebay in the past few weeks but they dont show up all that often.

Patrick Wallis was trying to sell his company when I last spoke to him. He closed his doors in July 2007.

How sad,they made some nice figures.I too liked the bar room brawl set,it was something a little different from the norm i thought.NMA,Sarum,we don't want to lose too many producers do we.

Although Patrick has ceased producing his range he still attends the London show selling off his existing stock. He will be in attendance on the 29th and might still have some of the figures you mention. If you are going, or know someone who is, it would be worth while having a word with Patrick and seeing what you can get.
