Thanks Jason. The wall is part of a dio made by Jakob of Toy Soldier of Scandinavia. The house in the background is an old FL item.

I do like sets like this from K&C that show human emotion or tenderness.

Thanks Louis. Yes me too on hoping for a safe return. It makes you think of the tragedy of war.

My mom was just a very small girl/baby when my grandfather went to war in Europe with Patton's 3rd Army and this scene reminds me of a photo of his return with my mom in the picure.
