Little Legion has a similar set based on the movie "Zulu".

Hi Raymond,

I am not aware Little Legion producing this set. I have a the Bromhead figure which is similar, but not the other figures. I also have the Chard figure, from a scene early in the movie, when Chard and Bromhead first meet in the movie. These are the two figures I have.

Hello Brian,

I shall have to get back to you on this.

Please let me do some checking when I get home from work.

There is at least one other manufacturer with a similar set.

Best Wishes, Raymond.:)

Raymond,
You might be thinking of Dorset. They have an identical scene with cheetah (yeah, right...Not in Natal at that time) on a stick.
Brian is in very good company, as I have both figs that he posted:D I'm pretty sure no gunbearers/hunt parties are out by LL.

Mike,

I think that you are right that I am wrong.

By the way, have you seen the new Dorset Soldier website?

Here it is: http://www.dorsetsoldiers.com/

Raymond.

Hi Brian,

I have checked my Little Legion catalogs (2006 and 2009).

Both Mike and you are absolutely right. Little Legion did not produce a "hunting set".

The mounted figure of Lt. Bromhead is Set Z/106 and the companion piece is Lt. Bromhead of Set Z/120.

My Apologies, Raymond.
