Now that the UK customs has finally allowed the New Model Army schwimwagens to get out of hock, we have them in stock and ready to go.

You can see the 360 images by clicking the images below.

Looks nice ! I've not purchased any NMA items (yet) and would welcome comments on compatability/quality as compared to K&C. I'd like to add a schwimmer to my K&C vehicle group.

I've seen them and already have the K & C so I passed. I don't think they're good as K & C but if you don't have that one, what are you going to do?

With Andy saying there may be K & C FJs later this year, maybe there will be a Schwim but who knows?

I appreciate your comments. It does look like an interesting piece and it sure beats $300+ for a retired K&C.

You ain't kidding about that. If I was in your shoes, I'd get the NMA version.

I have the Summer Schwimwagon and it looks a lot better in person than it does in an advertisement picture. I am not a fan of those photos. I have the Summer armored car, tank and a few figures also.

I can't let you get steered down the wrong path on this one, the NMA Schwimwagon is excellent. I hope this pic helps. Firebat

Wow, that looks much better than the official pics.

I noticed a similar situation with the Forces of Valor Schwimmwagon which looked fairly crap in their brochures but is a really nice model in the flesh (maybe the earlier pics were of pre-production models). In this age of the internet it's very important that manufacturers illustrate their models to the best advantage imo.

The NMA Schwim is a notch below KC quality in my opinion. The figures are a couple of notches behind. Honour Bound is making one in the "near future" but it will also probably be more expensive.

It will be interesting to see if K & C makes a new one and then have a side by side comparison of all three. Whether or not K & C makes one, I'll be very interested to see what the HB version looks like.

Things have been awfully quiet from HB and NMA lately. I was hoping that the HB Shermans, infrared Panther set, and American Jeep would be available at the London show - but not even pictures to this point.

Thanks Firebat, your picture helps a lot-and nice looking dio. I'd swear they've the SS Officer fig wearing a crusher cap with Luftwaffe insignia in their pics. Is that true on yours-or did you get the FJ figure version ?

The figures are slightly mixed up. They are SS Batt 500 Fj's but they have Luftwaffe insignia on their uniforms.

Battalion 500 was an SS unit issued with Luftwaffe equipment. Some of the personnel there removed the Luftwaffe insignia whilst others kept it in place. Obviously Some of the personnel also kept their army issue smocks and head dress and utilised these at the same time as wearing luftwaffe equipment.
I hope this clarifies things - I find Battalion 500 a really interesting example of a wartime unit which is why we chose to feature them in our range.
Aside from this look out for our 2 new vehicles due for release towards the end of February followed by another 2 in May, none of which have been manufactured so far in 1/30th scale.
Regards Blake

I picked up a NMA schwimmer recently and have to say that I'm quite pleased.
I don't have a K&C version to compare with, but I like it.
Looking forward to more NMA releases.

I purchased the GFJ3 Schwimwagen after seeing it at the West Coaster.
The detail was even better then what the photo shows.
I have it, and the SdKfz & 4 man motor crew, displayed along with my K& C pieces.
