It's been more than twenty years since I last made a model building from scratch, I think the last one was probably the Lars homestead from Star Wars in 25mm. For some time now I've wanted to make a highland croft and have some of my red coats hunting down Jacobite symphathisers. Well after two years of putting it off I finally started to carve a representation of a highland dwelling base on that on the battlefield.
It's not upto Johns standards and far to square at the edges but I'm learn every step. I am trying to upload the photos but not sure if the phone is the best device to be doing this. Will have to try and upload via my PC in the morning.

Regards Glynn

Hopefully here are the pictures of the work in progress. Got to build up the gable ends and add the rough thatch.

Looking good so far except you have made one grave error ... Shouldn't it be the Scots about to finish off a poor English soldiers? {sm4} ^&grin The detailing on the stone wall is well done. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.
Cheers,
Brendan
